Line-ups

Pão Francês (French Bread)
People line up at the bakeries to buy
What else do they line up for?
I notice there are long lines at the lottery shops. Besides selling lottery tickets, the shops also works like a bank. People use the shops to pay bills, etc.
There are lines in the supermarkets at the butcher counter. Beef is their everyday meat here. The next popular meat is chicken. Pork is the least one. Seafood is not popular at home. There are seafood restaurants though. But they tend to overcook their seafood.
First time I went to Itanhaem beach was on a Sunday evening. There is a 5-lane highway going there. There were so many cars returning that they closed off one side of the highway. So there were ten lanes coming towards Sao Paulo and we had to take an old winding highway with the trucks. It was spectacular watching all those cars. It's like two stadiums of soccer matches finished at the same time.
