Yeah, at the beach!

After changing 5 highways and went through 5 tunnels each about 2 or 3 kilometers long, we arrived at Itanhaem.

Here is our apartment, on 14th floor. Adriana's father Angelo bought this unit in 1972. It was the only high rise at the beach.

Like any vacation home, the place has to be cleaned up for use. The apartment has been sitting empty for more than six months.
What am I doing? Documenting, for you. Hehe!

There are two bedrooms, both with bunk beds.

We prefer to sleep on the floor in this room.

Adriana and I enjoy staying here. We are totally free here, by ourselves. We can sleep in. We can stay up late. I donwloaded ten movies in my laptop.

Here is the small bathroom.

It would be quite a busy spot if you have came along.

All the furnitures are either 30 or close to 40 years old.

Let's go outside for some nice view.

The sun is setting.

View from the bedroom window.

It is quite during weekdays. Very few people at the beach. They are mostly old people there.
Tomorrow is Friday. The city will get busy since we are about one hour and a half drive from Sao Paulo.

There are hundreds of beaches in Brazil. The whole east coast is facing the Atlantic ocean.
Itanhaem is not a rich people's beach. But it is good enough for us.

This is right in front of our building.
Look at the waves. I can usually count around ten waves coming ashore.

High tide

Tomorrow I will take you into town and introduce you to my Chinese friends here.
